On December 9, the 2023 “Prologis Cup” GBA Basketball Tournament concluded at the Prologis Dongguan Shipai Logistics Center, featuring fourteen teams from more than 10 customers and potential customers. Participants displayed exceptional sportsmanship and dedication, reflecting the spirit of collaboration that defines our business philosophy.

This year’s “Prologis Cup” GBA Basketball Tournament, held in South China, sought to integrate the concept “Never Stop Exercising” into the rhythm of day-to-day park life. The initiative received positive acclaim from numerous customers within the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
Remarkable teamwork on the court
In 2019, Prologis China invested in a standard basketball court at the its Dongguan Shipai Logistics Center, aiming to create a more enriching work environment and offering customers a dedicated sports venue. During weekdays, the court has become a popular spot for our customers’ employees. Whether during lunch breaks or after a long day’s work, a group of enthusiastic employees from customers are always to be found on the court, embracing the joy of basketball.
The basketball tournament provided those employees under the roof of Prologis with the opportunity to experience the excitement of competitive sports firsthand. With the first blow of the whistle, players eagerly took to the court, stirring up an electric atmosphere of spirited competition. Dribbling, pivoting, leaping, and shooting – the actions of the players flowed together into a symphony of motion. Each player exhibited their individual skills and played with the utmost confidence, contributing to a formidable collaborative effort. Every shot taken stood as a testament to the unyielding strength of team unity and spirit.
After enduring several intense rounds of competition, the SHEIN Team emerged victorious, securing this year’s “Prologis Cup” championship. Nevertheless, every team earned the audience’s applause through their hard work and determination.
Not only did this basketball event highlight the spirit of competitive sports and the power of teamwork, it also fostered communication and strengthened friendships among our customers. All of this was made possible through the platform provided by Prologis.
Experience the delight of a serene camping night banquet
On the evening of the basketball tournament, Prologis China also treated participants to a relaxed camping dinner, offering participants a unique experience of life at the logistics center.
As evening fell, players gathered under tents, sharing a wonderful variety of dishes. A soothing melody was carried through the air, lending a romantic ambiance to the camping night. Soon, customers joined in dancing to the music, elevating the evening’s joy to its zenith.
Ms. Wang, one of the customers, expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am very thankful to Prologis for organizing this basketball game and camping buffet. It offers a different perspective on life at the park after working hours are finished. We were able to return to the next phase of work with renewed spirits.
